QUEENS: Two men get into broad daylight shooting in St. Albans

ST ALBANS, Queens — Police in New York are looking for two men who were caught on video exchanging gunfire in a wild broad daylight shooting in Queens.

The shooting took place in front of 194-05 Linden Boulevard in the St Albans area of Queens at around 12:30pm Tuesday, according to the NYPD.

Video released by police shows a man as he’s approached by two other individuals. After a few moments, the man who was approached pulls out a gun and shoots at another man at close range. 

After a few moments, the man who was approached draws a gun and begins shooting at another man at close range. The other man returns fire as they all scatter behind cars and continue exchanging gunfire.

The first man took off in a silver Honda Accord.

The second man fled in a black Acura 4-door sedan driven by another person.

The first man returned briefly to retrieve a bag that he had dropped during the shootout.

No injuries have been reported so far, although a white SUV sustained damage from the shooting.
