MANHATTAN, NY — A man was shot in the leg during an armed robbery in Kips Bay early Sunday morning, newly released NYPD video shows.
The incident unfolded at around 2:15am Sunday near 30th Street and 3rd Avenue.
Surveillance video shows the suspect, gun in hand, approach the 35-year-old man while demanding his property.
Police say the victim complied. The suspect then shot the man in the thigh and ran off on foot with his chain and watch.
He remans at large at the time of this report.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover from his injuries.
