VIDEO: Shots ring out following bar fight in Houma, Louisiana

HOUMA, La.  – A new video shows a shootout outside a popular Houma bar.

Police say the shooting began when an altercation spilled out of Thirsty’s Bar on Barataria Avenue on Sunday, June 30. Three people were injured and two were arrested. The search is on for three others.

The video shows the moment dozens of shots are fired between multiple groups of people, after an argument that Houma police say started inside the bar and continued into the sparkling lot.

People in the crowd are seen running away from the bar back to their cars just before the shots began and driving off after the shootout.

About two minutes later, as the vehicles drive off, you can also see a law enforcement unit arrive on the scene with blue lights flashing.

One of the victims, a 49-year-old man, was hit by a stray bullet while standing outside a nearby hotel. Two other victims in their mid-20s also arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds. None of the victims’ injuries are expected to be life-threatening.

Dontrelle Robertson was arrested in the aftermath and Devon Randell was located in Texas and apprehended.

Houma police now say they’re looking for three more suspects; Sebastian Beck, Akeem Ross, and Adrian Williams.

The victims are recovering.

Anyone with information about this incident or the suspects’ whereabouts is urged to contact Houma police or leave an anonymous tip with Crimestoppers.
