Video shows Lil Meech pleading with cops after gun found in bag at airport

Rapper Lil Meech was arrested at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in December after airport security found a gun in his luggage, newly released bodycam video shows.

At some point in the video, Demetrius Flenory Jr. can be heard asking officers “Can I call my mom?”

Lil Meech tried telling police that the gun was in his bag due to a mix-up with his personal security guard, but cops detained him nonetheless.

Authorities later declined to charge Meech after evidence corroborated his story.
