A woman was beaten and shot to death in a broad daylight execution style shooting in Myanmar, and the National Unity Government (NUG) has vowed to investigate after video surfaced on social media.
Video of the heinous crime shows a woman, suspected of having participated in a murder, getting beaten by several individuals on a street in Tamu, Sagaing Region.
Men appearing to be soldiers of the People’s Defence Force can also been seen nearby throughout the attack.
In the end, the woman is blindfolded and sent to her knees. An unknown person out of camera view shoots her in the back with a shotgun.
Another person can then be seen finishing her off with AK47 shots to the head.
The NUG said it would investigate wether PDF members were actually involved in the crime and has vowed to take action against all those involved.
