Video shows woman shoved onto oncoming subway train in Times Square

NEW YORK — Video released by police shows the moment a woman was shoved onto an oncoming subway train at a Times Square station Monday morning.

At around 8:15am, a train was coming to a stop when a woman wearing a bandana pushed the 42-year-old victim, the NYPD said.

The victim fell back onto the platform and was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries to her face and legs.

The suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a female in her 30s, wearing black sneakers, beige pants, a black sweater with a multi colored scarf.

On Tuesday, the NYPD says it had arrested a suspect.
