A woman reportedly suffocated to her death outside of a hospital in China after being denied entry because she was suffering from a high fever.
The video reportedly shows a 31-year-old woman struggling to breathe outside a hospital in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, where she was denied medical assistance over a strong fever.
The woman reportedly died moments after the video was shot. The outlet said the hospital claimed the cause of death was “acute myocarditis.”
The incident comes days after China announced a rollback of its strict COVID-19 restrictions.
