Wild boar crashes into Florida home

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies in Florida responded to a home after a wild boar weighing about 300 pounds crashed through a sliding glass door and entered the living room.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred when the animal broke through the glass and startled the family inside. Body camera video shows the boar standing in the living room before running back outside.

The animal then charged at a deputy multiple times in the yard before officers were able to subdue it with a lasso.

No injuries were reported. The sheriff’s office said the boar was released back into the nearby woods.
