Wilmington PD looking for man who assaulted two people at convenience store

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Wilmington Police Department (WPD) is searching for a suspect who assaulted two people at a convenience store on May 13.

According to WPD, the victims were working at Buffaloes Watering Hole on Tuesday night when the suspect entered. WPD says the suspect, identified as Mohammed Alzubaidi, ordered a hamburger, then began fighting with one of the victims about being able to order a drink.

WPD says the victim told officers Alzubaidi was drunk and started attacking other people.

In surveillance video Alzubaidi can be seen attacking, pushing, and throwing punches at people in the store.

WPD says Alzubaidi left on his motorcycle, and a warrant is on file for this incident.

WPD has confirmed Alzubaidi is a member of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club.

The owners of the store have no comment on the incident.
