A woman attending a Barcelona SC celebration in Guayaquil, Ecuador, lost multiple fingers after a firecracker exploded in her hand inside the stadium crowd.

The incident happened during Noche Amarilla 2026 at Estadio Monumental, a major event marking the club’s season launch. According to local reports, the fan attempted to ignite a firecracker from the stands when it detonated prematurely in her right hand.

Witnesses described a loud blast followed by a cloud of smoke and panic in the seating area. The explosion instantly amputated several of the woman’s fingers, leaving firecracker debris and visible blood in the crowd as nearby fans scrambled in shock.
