NEW ORLEANS – A woman was injured during a brawl on Canal Street.
The fight happened in the early hours of Sunday morning and reportedly began when several people started assaulting one woman.
During the altercation, one of the women involved pulled out a boxcutter and slashed another girl in the eye, face, and arm.
New Orleans police classified the incident as a simple battery. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries to her head and arms.
