THE BRONX, NY — A woman was left with a broken jaw after she was jumped by 3 men in the Pelham Parkway area of the Bronx.
According to the NYPD, the 37-year-old woman was assaulted on at around 9:15pm on May 18 in the Pelham Parkway neighborhood near Lydig Avenue and White Plains Road. She got into an argument with one of the suspects, which escalated into a physical confrontation, according to authorities.
According to surveillance video of the attack, two men threw the woman to the ground, and then all three suspects began kicking her in the face and body. The woman began to get up off the ground when one of the males returned and kicked her in the face, causing her to slump back to the ground, according to the footage.
The woman was taken to an area hospital where she was treated for her injuries before being released, authorities said.
The three suspects who jumped the woman in the Bronx were still being sought by police as of Wednesday.
