OHIO — A woman was knocked unconscious after getting slammed to the ground during a fight caught on video at the Kalahari Resort water park in Sandusky on Monday.
Video shows the violent brawl at the Ohio amusement park in which multiple people take part. The woman, identified as 23-year-old Brittany Cabay, from Flint, then appears to be charging at a person while throwing her fists. However, the man she appears to be attacking lifts her up and then tosses her to the floor.
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office did not identify or file charges against the person who threw the woman.
The woman regained consciousness and was later combative with deputies when they arrived, according to a report.
A 25-year-old man, identified as Zackary Colzin of Sterling Heights, was also found unconscious. An EMT at the scene told law enforcement he was attempting to help Colzin when Colzin became violent and started punching him. The EMT said he was forced to tackle Colzin, who hit his head on the ground and went unconscious, according to the report.
Colzin regained consciousness and punched a deputy, the report states. He was eventually subdued, handcuffed and arrested after getting stunned with a Taser.
It’s unknown what started the waterpark fight and if the woman and Colzin were together at the Sandusky Kalahari Resort.
Both were taken to Firelands Regional Medical Center and later released to the custody of sheriff’s deputies.
Colzin is charged with two counts of assault and three misdemeanors; persistent disorderly conduct while intoxicated, resisting arrest and failure to disclose personal information.
He’s being held without bond as of Tuesday afternoon.

Brittany Cabay was released from the Erie County Jail on a $14,000 bond following the 2021 fight at the Kalahari Resort water park.
