Woman stabbed in random attack on Chicago train platform

Chicago police are asking for help identifying a man who stabbed a woman on a train platform in the 400 block of S. Halsted St. on November 8 around 11:14 p.m.
Investigators say the man pulled a large knife from his backpack, walked up to a woman sitting on a bench, and stabbed her in the chest. He then walked away and was last seen heading north on S. Morgan St.
The suspect is described as a Black male, about 6 feet tall, 160–180 lbs, and was last seen wearing a pink beanie, gray hooded jacket, orange sweater, light blue jeans, white shoes, and carrying a gray backpack.
